Members from across the 1st district got together in Batavia to discuss issues related to the health and safety of their members.
Presentations were provided by Matt Stefanacci, Firefighter, Saratoga Springs FD on "Solar panels and how they effect firefighter operations", Peter Caruso, retired DC from Utica Fire on "2 1/2 Story Frame Structure Fires" and Dominick Vincenti, Lieutenant, FDNY Counseling Service Unit on "Behavioral Health in the Fire Service".
