Principal officers, President Sam Fresina, Secretary/Treasurer Jim McGowan and Executive Vice President David Holleran of the state association traveled to NYC and met with leaders of the UFOA Tuesday afternoon to discuss business. Afterwards they met up with 5th District VP, Sean DeNigris and joined the UFA in celebrating their 100 year anniversary as a Union. The UFA hosted a dinner with many in attendance, including past and present association leaders, local and state officials, and IAFF leadership, including President Shaitberger, Secretary/Treasurer Ed Kelly and 1st District VP James Slevin.
