NYSPFFA with the assistance of the IAFF is pleased to host the 2nd Social Media / Communication seminar this October 17th and 18th in Albany, NY.
Social media and effective communications is vital to survive in this day and age.
The schedule for the 2-day conference is as follows:
TUESDAY – OCTOBER 17TH
REGISTRATION 8:30 am
9am locals personal time with Mark Treglio.
9:30am Back to Basics
10am Session starts
12:30am Lunch at the Renaissance
1:30pm session resumes
3pm Break session continues
5pm session concludes.
WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 18TH
7:30am Breakfast
8:30am session starts
10am Break sessions continues
1pm session concludes.
SAFE TRIP HOME
Topics to include but not limited to; Overview from last year, resource, messaging, empowering fire fighters, developing an internal communications structure, Facebook Advertising, building your audience before you need it, SMART- The importance of a Strategic plan, Hands On- Locals develop their plan,Con Con- The final push.
The cost is $150 per member and covers meeting room, on site lunch first day, on site breakfast second day. It will be held at Renaissance Hotel 10am-5pm first day and 8am-1pm second day. We have a block of rooms available. Please call the Renaissance directly at 518-992-2500. Mention the conference to get the special rate of $179/night for a standard room. Hotel cutoff date 10/6/2017.

It is not necessary to have attended last year’s seminar as we will include a brief review. Class size is amble so feel free to sign as many members as you want.
