Garden City Professional Firefighters are collecting petition signatures for a referendum vote by the citizens. Teams will be going out every weekday evening from 5-8:30 pm starting tonight to knock on resident doors and gather signatures.
That means this week, Thursday 8/9 and Friday 8/10. Next week help is needed every night Monday 8/13 through Friday 8/17. There will possibly also be weekend shifts, more info will follow when that is decided. To best coordinate the work shifts, it is preferred if you could email or call/text John Esposito with the days you are available and the number of people coming. However, don't be afraid to just show up or send a last minute text that you can help!
